North Coast Energy chose Hammond Construction for an interior build-out of shelled space. The three-phase office expansion project presented the team with the challenge of very tight scheduling time lines. The expansion involved unifying the upper floor with a new lower level via a monumental stair structure, as well as providing additional office space, lobby renovations, conference areas, and an engineering workroom.
Hammond has completed multiple renovation and additions to the B-Tek Scales fabrication building and their adjacent corporate offices. Hammond and Olsavsky Jaminet are teamed with the Mahoning County Educational Service Center as a design-builder for a new two-story office and training facility. The DB team worked extensively with the owner to come up with value engineering ideas to achieve the needs of the building without sacrificing aesthetics and functionality. Our joint efforts saved the client over a half a million dollars. The new facility features an open office concept that is designed to create innovative work spaces that allow for collaboration and flexibility. There are conference spaces, teaching labs, a technology workroom, production room and two large meeting rooms that can be reconfigured into five individual spaces.
Hammond served Chesapeake Energy to construct their new Utica Shale Headquarters on a 291 acre site in Louisville, Ohio. The site features an 85,000 square foot, five-story office building which will employ approximately 550 employees. When Hammond was chosen to be the design-builder for the new Hills & Dales Data Center, we experienced the challenge of constructing a state-of-the-art computer center that is the first of its type in the area. As a fast-track project, it required constant communication and coordination among the owner, architect, and engineer. The building consists of two floors, including a two-foot-deep computer floor containing a specialized cooling system.
