As the complexity of projects has evolved and client expectations have grown, we are increasingly asked to serve as construction managers. In this role, we coordinate the efforts of the owner, architect, engineers, contractors and suppliers. Clients rely on our extensive experience in estimating, budgeting, scheduling, planning, bidding and management to provide expert guidance throughout the entire design and construction process.

As the construction manager, the timeframe of our involvement expands beyond the start and end of physical construction, from concept through completion. We assist or direct the project team during pre-design planning and post-construction activities, ensuring that every detail is addressed and seen through to completion.

General contracting is the most familiar form of construction services. Clients rely on us to select and contract with the various subcontractors for plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.

But doing the best job for our clients sometimes requires some non-traditional approaches. We present various options, such as competitive bidding, value engineering, negotiated fee or time-and-material contracts, that may help reduce the costs or shorten the construction timeframe.

While there are many variables in the general contracting arrangement, there are also many constants when working with Hammond.
