Mt Union Chapel

CLIENT TESTIMONIAL

Hammond has served us as the construction manager on a number of our recent projects. These include two residence halls, a student union addition, an addition to our physical educations facility, a new chapel and, most recently, our library project.

Construction of the Kolenbrander-Harter Information Center involved a three-story, 68,000 square foot addition and renovations to the existing library facility. Hammond’s involvement with us from the beginning of this project enabled them to develop budgets and schedules that met our needs. Their value engineering and competitive bidding to subcontractors resulted in optimum value for our dollar. A good working relationship between Hammond and the architect was also a significant factor in producing a unique and affordable new facility.

Hammond has consistently completed our projects within the desired time frame and within the established budgets. It has been invaluable to our business office and campus operations to have a single source of responsibility for these projects and to have the construction occur without undue disruption of the ongoing activities on the campus. The final results are quality-built new facilities with minimum disruption of our day-to-day operations.

Several years ago I learned about Hammond from a local manufacturer who had contracted a major construction project with them and was fully satisfied with the results. He recommended them highly. In turn, I recommend that you give serious consideration to using their firm. We are certainly glad that we did.
